Job summary

MDS Staffing's client is a leading private real estate owner and developer in New York City seeking a Project Manager for construction. This on-site role oversees planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance across all phases.

You will coordinate with Architects, Contractors, and internal teams, maintain safety and insurance requirements, and report progress to senior leadership. Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years PM experience required; Procore/Bluebeam/Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or technical training.
5–10 years field experience as a Project Manager with a construction firm.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
Experience estimating and managing contracts, change orders, and budgets.
Knowledge of insurance requirements and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation from start to finish.
Develop budgets, track expenses, and manage contracts and submittals.
Ensure safety plans and site inspections are conducted per requirements.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to align on goals.
Monitor progress and review deliverables with clients before presentations.
