Job summary

Turner Construction Co. in Philadelphia seeks a seasoned Project Superintendent to supervise field construction, develop and implement schedules, and ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

You will lead field staff, coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, manage safety programs, and ensure compliance with Turner standards and all permits and insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years of related training and eight years of building construction experience.
• Thorough knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specs and construction means.
• Ability to implement BIM and Lean to benefit the project; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day construction activities.
• Develop and manage overall project schedules, critical path, and expediting materials.
• Lead and develop Turner field staff, including performance appraisals.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and safety programs; manage site safety.
• Oversee trades, coordinate operations, and resolve procedural issues.
• Manage permits, insurance, and liaison with inspection agencies.
• Oversee WIP billing, progress estimates, and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and quality standards.
