Job summary

Turner Construction Co. in Philadelphia seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site operations at the Main division project.

You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safety, manage schedule, cost control, and quality, and coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read contract documents and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience training and/or experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, including Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in EH&S applications.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and make decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.
• Oversee work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operations and resolve local area problems related to procedures and scheduling.
• Manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and regulations.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns, including performance input.
