Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent for the New York main division. Based on a project location in New York, NY, the role leads subcontractors, ensures safety, schedules delivery, and maintains on-time progress within budget.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience in building construction, scheduling, and cost control, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EH&S systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least four years' related experience or training.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EH&S applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control for trades.
• Coordinate work among trades for a coordinated project operation.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor safety compliance.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns.
• Create schedules and sequencing; implement recovery strategies.
• Communicate issues with owners and architects/engineers; resolve them.
• Manage billing related to Work In Place and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work is installed in accordance with contract documents.
