Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of oil and gas facility design experience.
• Knowledge of AISC, ASCE, API, AWS design guidelines.
• Proficiency in SACS and STAAD.
• Ability to coordinate with designers and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design for offshore, oil and gas facilities.
• Perform analyses of structural systems using SACS (in-place, loadout, transportation, installation, fatigue, non-linear).
• Design structures and elements (trunnions, mudmats, pipe/tray supports, pipe racks, skid shoes, jackets-to-pile connections).
• Prepare RFIs, CTRs, and reports.
• Reference AISC/ASCE/API/AWS standards and codes.
• Interface with project managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Research and implement industry-specific design techniques.
• Conduct field work to obtain necessary design information.
