Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer III in Houston, TX. The role involves performing civil/structural engineering assignments for equipment, components, structures, or systems as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate will prepare specifications, sketches, calculations, and vendor drawings, interacting with clients and vendors to ensure design integrity and compliance with HSSE standards. A PE license and offshore experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• ABET-accredited or equivalent ABET-institution preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience; offshore experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications for project assignments detailing performance requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing needs.
• Develop engineering sketches and calculations; create analysis models for moderately complex projects.
• Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment.
• Visit job sites and vendor facilities to evaluate conditions and ensure compliance with requirements.
