Job summary

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, maintaining project workflows, and mentoring staff. Requires 15 years in structural drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Navisworks, PDMS and E3D, plus knowledge of AISC, AWS, API RP 2A and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years experience in structural drafting/design for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Up to 5 years experience in onshore may be counted toward total experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Navisworks, PDMS and E3D.
• Knowledge of AISC, AWS, API RP 2A and OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with civil, structural, mechanical and electrical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models and drawings from sketches or SACs/model outputs.
• Manage project workflow to meet schedules.
• Mentor drafters assigned to projects.
• Draft technical details and specify dimensions and materials.
• Edit drawings from markups and verbal instructions.
• Create material lists and weight reports from 3D models.
• Check documents for completeness and correctness.
• Interact with design team and clients to resolve drafting issues.
• Ensure drawings meet Client, Industry and Company Standards.
