Job summary

Value Innovation Labs seeks a Senior Organizational Change Management Consultant to serve as an OCM Readiness Lead for the OPAL Project. The role collaborates with city departments and stakeholders to prepare for new technology, processes, and capability deployments.

Responsibilities include readiness activities, stakeholder engagement, and documentation with a focus on adoption, training, testing, and communications across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Organizational Change Management experience.
• Knowledge of the Full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from a change management perspective.
• Ability to maintain confidential data.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong meeting facilitation and interviewing skills.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Task assignment, coaching, and oversight experience.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Define, facilitate, track, and manage readiness activities with stakeholders.
• Partner with Change Management teams to prepare for new technology and processes.
• Assess readiness status and support decisions related to capability deployments.
• Work with department stakeholders to prepare for new system implementation.
• Identify and revise configuration elements, integrations, and reporting requirements.
• Drive standardization and adoption of new processes across departments.
• Process & system setup confirmation, testing, training, communications, and conversion validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews, and readiness activities.
• Create clear user and project documentation and communications.
