PACS seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in a post-acute setting. You will communicate with families, physicians and the health team, document services, and develop treatment plans aligned with physician orders.

You will supervise COTA and aides, lead in-services for staff, participate in care conferences, and assist with discharge planning and caregiver training. The role requires state licensure and ongoing continuing education.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; masters/doctorate preferred.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read and understand procedures, policies and manuals.

Mansioni

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral or 1 business day; document delays with justification.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from referring physician.
• Treat patients per physician plan and document progress.
• Supervise COTA and aides in direct patient care.
• Record evaluations, daily/treatment notes, and progress notes per state rules.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver training for home care.
