Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality resident care in a post-acute setting. The role involves following treatment plans, adapting activities, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will maintain a safe environment, participate in rehabilitation meetings, train Restorative Aides, and educate residents and families on home programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain safe treatment environment per infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the OT and interdisciplinary team.
