Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine LLC in Oakland, CA is seeking a Clinical Staff Physician to join the Center Leadership Team. You will direct the Center's medical policies and programs and oversee affordable, efficient occupational healthcare.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), a compensation range of $250,000–$300,000 per year, and comprehensive benefits. You will lead clinical operations, supervise clinicians, and collaborate with therapists to deliver

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with active CA license
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification or able to obtain within 30 days
• Board certified or board eligible through ABPM/ABFM/AOA or state board or equivalent per state laws

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at the center (in-clinic and telemedicine)
• Lead by example to optimize visit times and patient experience
• Serve as Primary Treating Physician for injuries, coordinating with therapists and specialists
• Manage clinicians and supervise staff in accordance with state requirements
• Foster collaboration, quality care, and patient safety across the center
• Work with leadership to improve clinical efficiency and outcomes
• Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and charge capture
• Maintain compliance with State Practice Acts and WC regulations
• Engage with employers on new injuries and clinical changes
• Participate in team meetings to enhance quality and growth
• Maintain relationships with clients and payers with timely responses
