Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a Procurement professional to lead obsolescence risk management for the supply base in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will drive last-time buys, alternate sourcing, and engineering change coordination to ensure production continuity.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to assess cost, lead time, and inventory implications, while maintaining supplier communications and compliance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in procurement, supplier negotiations and lifecycle management is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end obsolescence procurement activities, including risk identification and mitigation.
• Coordinate last-time buys, alternate sourcing and engineering changes as needed.
• Analyze supplier notifications, lifecycle data, and market trends for risk identification.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and provide status updates to leadership.
