Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled engineer to support the SL1 platform in a 24x7 environment. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and extensive Linux experience for installing, configuring, and daily administration of monitoring tools.

You will manage dashboards, reports, and enforcement of access controls while collaborating with project teams. The candidate will train and document procedures, work with ServiceNow for ticketing, and leverage PowerFlow and CMDB to optimize

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years installing, configuring, and daily administration of network monitoring tools on Linux.
• 5+ years using ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Experience with user training and documentation writing.
• TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a 24x7x365 monitoring environment.
• Perform maintenance of the SL1 platform and provide advanced solutions for security, backup and redundancy.
• Admin tasks and application support for the SL1 platform; create and maintain monitoring rules.
• Deliver SL1 dashboards and custom reports; provide timely problem resolution for SL1 components.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for engineering processes and procedures.
• Manage access control to restrict system, application, and data access to authorized users.
