Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Specialist II, TIS Application Observability to serve as the technical authority for our enterprise observability platform. You will transform telemetry into actionable insights, improve service reliability, and accelerate incident resolution across a hybrid technology landscape.

You will lead Dynatrace architecture, onboarding, and automation, while mentoring teams and driving strategy to standardize monitoring practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application performance monitoring, observability, SRE, or IT operations with hands-on Dynatrace experience.
• Strong expertise in Dynatrace technologies: OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI, Smartscape, PurePath, and distributed tracing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), Kubernetes, microservices, REST APIs, ServiceNow integrations, and modern DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to design monitoring strategies and implement observability standards using metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Advanced experience with Dynatrace Query Language on Grail, including dashboards and Notebooks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical findings into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, administration, and optimization of Dynatrace observability across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.
• Drive enterprise-wide onboarding and adoption of observability across teams and vendors.
• Design and enhance alerting and incident integrations to improve reliability and reduce MTTR.
• Develop observability-as-code solutions using CI/CD, APIs, and IaC tools.
• Define and report on SLIs/SLOs for critical applications.
• Mentor teams and contribute to observability governance and roadmap.
