Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in OB/GYN to perform a variety of sonographic exams for high-risk obstetric patients, including fetal echo. The role includes assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures and making clinical judgments from patient data and medical records.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited ultrasound program, RDMS/board eligibility, ARDMS OB/GYN certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound training program and board eligible or RDMS in OB/GYN.
• ARDMS OB/GYN Certification upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years ultrasound technologist experience; 1 year high-risk OB experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB ultrasound examinations including fetal echo for high-risk OB patients.
• Assist radiologist and/or perinatologist during invasive procedures.
• Make clinical judgments based on information from referrers, records, and patient interactions.
