Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in perinatal imaging to perform OB/GYN studies, including fetal echo, and to aid physicians in invasive procedures. This role emphasizes clinical judgment based on chart review, patient interview, and imaging findings.

Qualifications include graduating from an accredited ultrasound program with board eligibility or RDMS in OB/GYN, ARDMS certification upon hire, BLS, and at least two years of ultrasound experience with one year

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound training program and is board eligible or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in OB/GYN.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
• 1 year of high-risk OB experience

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of sonographic examinations relating to high-risk OB patients, including Fetal Echo. Assists the radiologist/perinatologist during invasive procedures.
• Makes a clinical judgement of the patient’s condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and assessments.
