Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-risk OB sonographic exams, including fetal echocardiography, and support radiologists during invasive procedures. You will exercise clinical judgement using physician input, records, and patient assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program and is board eligible or RDMS (OB/GYN)
• Upon hire: ARDMS certification
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association (Provider)
• 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
• 1 year of high-risk OB experience
• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound (preferred)
• ARDMS in Adult and Fetal Echocardiography (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of sonographic examinations relating to high-risk OB patients, including Fetal Echo
• Assist radiologist and/or perinatologist during invasive procedures
• Make a clinical judgement of the patient's condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and assessments
