Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle, WA, is seeking an ultrasound technologist specializing in high‑risk obstetrics to perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams, including fetal echo, and to assist radiologists during invasive procedures. The role requires ARDMS certification and BLS, with 2 years' experience in ultrasound and 1 year in high‑risk OB.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program and RDMS in OB/GYN
• National Certification from ARDMS upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
• 1 year of high-risk OB experience

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of sonographic examinations for high-risk OB patients, including Fetal Echo
• Assist radiologist and/or perinatologist during invasive procedures
• Make clinical judgments based on information from referring physician, medical records, patient interview and assessments
• Contribute to patient care and workflow in the perinatal ultrasound department
