Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking an ultrasound technologist with OB/GYN specialization to perform high-risk OB sonography and fetal echo exams. The role includes assisting radiologists during invasive procedures and making clinical judgments based on comprehensive patient data.

Required are board eligibility or RDMS in OB/GYN, ARDMS certification upon hire, BLS, and 2 years of ultrasound experience with at least 1 year in high-risk OB.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program and is board eligible or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in OB/GYN
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
• 1 year of high-risk OB experience

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of sonographic examinations relating to high-risk OB patients, including Fetal Echo
• Assists radiologist and/or perinatologist during invasive procedures
• Makes a clinical judgement of the patient's condition based on information from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and assessments
