Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Senior Business Office Patient Call Coordinator to support OB/GYN scheduling and patient communications. This role works in a call center-like environment and ensures accurate appointment bookings while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality service.

Training is provided at the Administrative facility with on-site sessions at North clinic locations. Work-from-home opportunities may arise after ~90 days for Texas residents, with a Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED. Experience using a PC in a Windows environment.
• Preferred: Healthcare setting experience, OB/Gyn, patient call coordination experience (6+ months).
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication, knowledge of medical terminology, strong interpersonal and problem solving, ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work in a team and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Book patient appointments for OB/GYN providers using Epic EMR.
• Confirm or update demographics and notify patients of account balances.
• Adhere to scheduling protocols for multiple locations and provider restrictions.
• Use available resources to support efficient scheduling.
• Meet department metrics and call standards.
• Screen and direct incoming calls as needed.
• Verify MyChart appointment scheduling accuracy.
• Follow company policies including OSHA, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct.
• Work holiday shifts as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and on-site training.
