Job summary

Struction Solutions is seeking an experienced Owner Authorized Representative II (OAR II) to oversee commercial and/or public educational facility construction projects. This role manages assigned projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring compliance with District requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of full-time, paid professional experience in construction and/or project/ construction management.
• At least five (5) of those years must include coordination of complex projects with values over $20 million.
• A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management; CCM may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned projects from pre-construction to close-out.
• Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to the design team.
• Prepare project status and progress reports for upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies, District staff, and project teams regarding off-site work and applicable requirements.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, reviewing budgets monthly to reflect progress.
• Oversee daily contractor activities, review schedules and submittals, and respond to RFCs.
• Review change order proposals for fair pricing and schedule impacts.
• Review and monitor payments to contractors and project partners.
• Coordinate delivery of District-provided fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Manage project close-out, including DSA certification and financial close-out.
