Job summary

Struction Solutions is seeking an experienced Owner Authorized Representative I (OAR I) to manage commercial and public educational facility construction projects in Los Angeles. You will oversee projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring budgets, schedules and District requirements are met.

You will coordinate with design teams, public agencies, and district staff; review documents, monitor progress, and administer contracts and payments.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of full-time, paid professional experience in construction and/or project management of commercial and/or public educational facilities.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with individual construction values exceeding $10 million.
• Bachelor's degree or CCM credential may substitute for the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all phases of assigned projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Review pre-construction documents and provide comments to the design team.
• Prepare project status and progress reports for upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies, District personnel, and project teams regarding off-site work and applicable requirements.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, reviewing budgets monthly to reflect progress.
• Oversee daily contractor activities, review schedules and submittals, and respond to RFCs.
• Review proposed substitutions for compliance with specifications and District requirements.
• Review and negotiate contractor change orders and monitor payments to project partners.
