Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator/Associate to plan, prepare and manage work packages for electric distribution maintenance and capital replacement projects. You will ensure safe, efficient completion of activities while aligning with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves leading planning tasks, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate project records.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field plus experience in construction/maintenance or project management.
• Experience in coordinating scope definition, timelines, budgets and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of moderately complex to complex electric distribution maintenance projects.
• Prepare detailed work packages, secure permits and develop lane closure traffic plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, review invoices, monitor progress and ensure scope alignment.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders and provide project status updates.
• Assist with outage notifications, scheduling, PTO coverage, and inspector coordination.
• Maintain records in work management systems and report on budgets and metrics.
• Provide emergency response support during events such as storms.
• Ensure site readiness and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
