Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a Supervisor Construction Maintenance to lead teams responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric distribution systems that serve customers in Arizona. You will coordinate field crews, ensure safe and reliable service, and drive operational excellence across multiple work groups.

Role requires strong leadership, experience with distribution operations, and the ability to travel within the service area and oversee after-hours

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field plus 3 years' experience; or Journeyman experience with 3 years' related work; or equivalent 7 years' education/experience.
Must live within the geographic area (Wickenburg) and be able to commute to service sites and oversee emergent work during nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

Coordinate line crews and servicemen to ensure fully staffed crews.
Minimize customer outages by implementing proper operating/restoration procedures.
Control construction costs by scheduling resources to maximize productivity.
Resolve differences through open communication and interpretation of policies and labor agreements.
Maintain vehicle and equipment fleets with systematic maintenance programs.
Promote safety awareness and reduce accidents through meetings and tailboard sessions.
Support emergent restoration efforts and after-hours duties with union crews as needed.
May participate in local community boards or events.
