Job summary

United Future in Austin, TX is seeking a Head Programmer / CNC Programmer with 5+ years in Siemens NX CAM and 5-axis CNC programming to lead our CAD-to-CAM team. You will develop the programming standard for our automated cells, program aerospace and defense parts in titanium, Inconel, and aluminum, and mentor junior programmers.

Post processor experience is a plus; relocation package available. US citizen or permanent resident status is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of NX CAM/CNC programming experience.
• Experience leading CAD-to-CAM teams and standard development.
• Experience with 5-axis CNCs and aerospace/defense parts.
• US citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Willing to relocate to Austin, TX onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD-to-CAM team and build programming standards.
• Program complex aerospace/defense parts on 5-axis CNCs.
• Train programmers and define manufacturing processes.
• Develop probing stacks for lights-out production.
