Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Head Programmer / CNC Programmer with 5+ years of Siemens NX CAM experience to lead the CAD-to-CAM team for automated 5-axis CNC cells.

You will build the programming standard from scratch, program complex aerospace and defense parts, train programmers, define processes, and develop probing stacks for lights-out production; bonus for NX Post Builder experience. Relocation available; US citizenship or green card holder required; onsite.

Qualifications

• We need an expert in Siemens NX CAM with 5+ years of experience leading CAD-to-CAM initiatives.
• Ability to define and implement programming standards for automated 5-axis cells.
• Experience programming complex aerospace/defense parts and training programmers.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD-to-CAM team and build the programming standard from scratch.
• Program complex aerospace/defense parts and optimize post-processing workflows.
• Train programmers and develop probing stacks for lights-out production.
• Collaborate with Automation and Software Engineers to advance CAM workflows.
