Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Head Programmer/CNC Programmer in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Siemens NX CAM, with aerospace/defense experience, and can lead our CAD-to-CAM team.

You will build the programming standard for our automated 5-axis cells and personally program complex parts in titanium, Inconel, and aluminum. Collaboration with automation and software engineers to optimize tooling, post processors, and probing stacks for lights-out

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Siemens NX CAM and CNC programming.
• Experience leading CAD-to-CAM teams for 5-axis cells.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; ITAR compliant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CAD-to-CAM team and build programming standards for automated 5-axis cells.
• Program complex aerospace/defense parts personally (titanium, Inconel, aluminum).
• Train programmers, define processes, and build probing stacks for lights-out production.
• Collaborate with automation engineers and software teams on tooling/workholding strategies and CAM workflows.
