Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking an experienced NVH engineer to advance noise, vibration, and aeroacoustics performance for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis models in North America.

You will run experimental tests, analyze results, and drive root-cause solutions across development programs. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years in automotive NVH, and hands-on experience with LMS Test.Lab, ArtemiS, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of automotive engineering experience.
• 5+ years of NVH development and testing on development vehicles.
• Experience in testing, analysis, and system-level optimization for NVH.
• Proficient with NVH equipment and software including LMS Test.Lab, ArtemiS, and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Test and develop NVH performance for North American Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles.
• Conduct Transfer Path Analysis, Modal Analysis, and Sound Quality investigations.
• Perform NVH and wind noise testing, identify root causes, and develop countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test plans and manage test vehicles.
