Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Sr. NVH Engineer to test and develop Noise and Vibration performance for North American Market Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles.

The role includes experimental investigations and evaluating NVH with a customer-focused perspective. You will collaborate with NVH and cross-functional teams on test plans, coordinate test vehicles, and support test activities at the Hyundai California Proving Ground.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant automotive engineering experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrated NVH development and testing for development vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Test and develop NVH performance for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles in NA.
• Conduct NVH investigations including Transfer Path Analysis, Modal Analysis and Sound Quality Analysis.
• Perform NVH and Wind Noise evaluations and summarize findings in reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and manage test vehicles.
• Interface with Engineering Design and R&D HQ in Korea; present findings and development directions.
• Support Hyundai California Proving Ground and NA manufacturing plants.
