Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. is seeking a Senior NVH Engineer to lead the test and development of Noise and Vibration performance for North American market vehicles. The role involves experimental investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with global teams to ensure customer-focused NVH excellence.

You will work with LMS Test.Lab, ArtemiS, and Matlab to evaluate performance, benchmark competitors, and drive countermeasures from prototype to pilot stages.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of automotive engineering experience.
• 5+ years in NVH development and testing of development vehicles.
• Experience with NVH test equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Test and develop NVH performance for North American vehicles.
• Conduct Transfer Path Analysis, Modal Analysis, and Sound Quality Analysis.
• Perform NVH subjective evaluations and objective testing; identify root causes and countermeasures.
• Prepare technical reports and presenting findings to teams.
• Collaborate with NVH and cross-functional teams to execute test plans.
• Interface with design and R&D teams, including international partners.
• Support Nevada: wait, California Proving Ground testing and NA manufacturing support.
• Benchmark competitors and translate findings into actionable targets.
