Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles is seeking a Meal Service Coordinator to ensure appetizing and safe meals at onsite or home delivery sites. You will organize a senior nutrition program, manage data entry, and support outreach to meet attendance goals.

This role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to work with volunteers. A CA driver’s license and ServSafe certification within 2 months are required.

Qualificações

• Customer service oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and data entry.
• Must obtain ServSafe Manager certification within 2 months of employment.
• Experience with volunteers and working with seniors or social services is preferred.
• Must have reliable CA driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and coordinate a senior nutrition site and data entry responsibilities.
• Prepare and serve meals on site or for home delivery per HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain records, attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Conduct outreach to meet annual attendance goals and monitor food waste.
• Record client meal participation weekly for reporting to funders.
• Manage donations and deposit funds as needed.
