Job summary

Senior Friendship Centers is seeking a compassionate Nutrition Coordinator to support a congregate meal site. The role focuses on nourishing older adults, fostering connection, and enriching the community through wellness activities and compliant operations.

You will manage meal service, supervise volunteers, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and quality across daily dining duties at local sites. This is a part-time, on-site position with meaningful, purpose-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a congregate meal dining site.
• Receive and check delivered food; ensure proper temperatures and substitute service when needed.
• Set up, clean, sanitize kitchen and dining area; assist with site maintenance as needed.
• Record daily refrigerator/freezer temperatures; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with vendors and volunteers to plan classes and activities.
• Supervise and train volunteers; ensure menu quality and timely delivery of meals.
• Oversee ordering, reservations, and cancellations; assist with donations per policy.
