Job summary

Serving Seniors is seeking a Nutrition Site Coordinator in San Diego, CA to oversee daily dining room and kitchen operations, maintain positive community relations, and communicate regularly with the Food Service Director.

This on-site role requires prior food service or kitchen experience, strong customer service, and reliable use of Microsoft Office. Hours are part-time with a 8:30am–2pm schedule and a $20/hr pay rate.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or similar environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Driver's license required to drive Company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day food service at the site.
• Liaise with all food service vendors.
• Oversee collection of daily meal donations.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly counts of clients served to Site Manager.
• Act as a concierge to seniors, guests and volunteers in the dining room.
• Distribute the monthly menus.
• Support outreach to promote program services in the community.
