Job summary

Rock County is seeking a Nutrition Program Coordinator to manage the Elder Nutrition Program and support congregate and home-delivered meal services in accordance with federal and state regulations. The role oversees staff, volunteers, and partnerships to ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery.

The position involves coordinating with the Nutrition Advisory Committee, performing data reporting, and promoting program participation while maintaining fiscal constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human services or related field.
• Registered Dietitian preferred or equivalent experience.
• Serve Safe Sanitation Training Certification required at hire or soon after.
• Knowledge of the Older Americans Act Elder Nutrition Program.
• Experience with non-profit/human services organizations is desirable.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings as needed.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Elder Nutrition Program activities per State and federal regulations.
• Supervise congregate dining centers to ensure policy compliance and fiscal adherence.
• Oversee Home Delivered Meal Program including volunteer recruitment and intake verification.
• Ensure contract compliance with caterer and contracted dietitian; monitor education components.
• Maintain data collection and reporting through Peer Place and related systems.
• Support Nutrition Advisory Committee and implement recommendations.
• Coordinate Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program activities and sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
