Habitat Health is seeking a Kitchen Coordinator to support safe, therapeutic nutrition services at our day centers. You will receive vendor-prepared foods, prepare meals, and ensure temperatures are logged while keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary.

As part of a collaborative team, you will assist the Registered Dietitian, maintain proper food storage, and follow dietary cards. This role requires a high school diploma, ServSafe certification, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in large-batch/institutional cooking, menu adherence and ordering.
• CA Servsafe and Food Handlers Certification required.
• Ability to source food from approved suppliers and prepare, distribute, and serve under sanitary conditions.
• Ability to execute modified or therapeutic diets as directed by the team and RD.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to a center experience that participants want to spend time in and foster a caring team culture.
• Assist the Registered Dietitian in providing safe, therapeutic nutrition services.
• Maintain storage standards for vendor-prepared foods prior to meal service.
• Measure and record food temperatures and ensure safety according to Habitat Health policies.
• Prepare and plate food according to dietary cards and preferences.
• Label and date perishable foods and manage inventory and orders.
