Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Manager of Nursing Professional Development to lead nursing education, onboarding, and competency programs across the Greater Denver/Colorado market. You will align educational initiatives with clinical quality goals and patient safety standards, guiding data-driven program evaluation and professional growth for NPD staff.

The role requires an MSN (preferred) or BSN with RN licensure, BLS, and 2–5 years of clinical education experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing preferred; BSN required if Master's not in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 2–5 years of clinical education experience.
• Experience in curriculum development, adult learning principles, leadership, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic execution of nursing education, onboarding, and competency programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and patient safety standards.
• Mentor NPD specialists and clinical educators; evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align education with quality goals.
• Assess staff skills, identify gaps, and drive continuous development.
• Review performance metrics to measure impact on care quality and safety.
