  • Master's degree in midwifery from an accredited program is required.
  • 1–3 years as a full-scope midwife with high-risk obstetric experience is preferred.
  • Prescriptive authority and CNM certification required.
  • Leadership experience and ability to lead education initiatives are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope midwifery care according to service needs.
  • Precept and mentor NP/PA, residents and students under Denver Health guidelines.
  • Lead development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines and training programs.
  • Supervise and evaluate midwifery staff and APPs; coordinate onboarding.
  • Drive quality improvement, data collection and benchmarking for care delivery.
