Job summary

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset provides experienced caregiving in a 128-bed long-term care facility. Under RN supervision, you deliver resident-centered nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, and follow infection prevention policies.

This on-site role requires CNA certification, a commitment to compassionate care in a faith-based nonprofit environment, and willingness to participate in restorative and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; 16+ years old.
• Annual competency testing and 12 hours continuing education required.
• Restorative Nursing training within 6 months may be required.
• May require Driver's license and UAP Registry where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and document care outcomes per care plan.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility support.
• Assist with meals and maintain a positive dining experience.
• Support housekeeping and laundry and participate in wellness activities.
