Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant to provide expert care for long-term residents in a 128-bed facility. You will support the nursing team under the supervision of a registered nurse, delivering resident-centered care and assisting with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, assisting with transfers, and participating in restorative programs while maintaining infection control and high accountability.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required with State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually with documented credits.
• Restorative Nursing training may be required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding as needed.
• Record and communicate vital signs and care needs; document interactions.
• Support restorative programs and participate in care planning as required.
• Maintain infection control practices and safe transfer techniques.
