Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant to provide experienced, resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility. You will work under an RN, performing daily living activities, vital sign checks, and routine health support while adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required
• GED or high school diploma preferred
• Minimum age 16
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
• Annual continuing education credits required
• Restorative Nursing training within 6 months may be required
• Must be registered or certified with state Board of Nursing where applicable
• Driver's license and, if state requires, driving record check

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility and vital signs
• Maintain infection prevention and control per policy
• Document resident interactions and report concerns to charge nurse
• Support restorative nursing programs as assigned
• Participate in departmental committees as needed
