Job summary

Monarch is seeking a Corporate Nurse Leader to guide nursing operations across multiple facilities in Minnesota. You will partner with regional leaders to advance care management, quality, and population health initiatives while mentoring nursing staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will help unify nursing teams, promote person-centered care, and align clinical operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Experience directing nursing teams in Minnesota skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and MDH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership & quality: ensure care teams meet regulatory standards and drive quality metrics.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing clinical system training for staff.
• Serve as interim DON or Nurse Manager when needed.
• Support strategy, processes, and outcome measurement across facilities.
• Act as super-user and trainer for clinical software systems.
• Collaborate on quality metrics and corrective action plans with DONs and managers.
• Lead training for new nursing leadership roles.
• Identify and address quality-of-care concerns with facility leadership.
• Operational excellence: promote efficient workflows and cross-functional coordination.
• Participate in IDT, clinical operations, and leadership meetings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and new initiatives.
• Compliance & culture: foster positive, inclusive workplace rooted in service excellence.
• Engage in continuing education and in-services as directed by VP of Clinical Services.
• Assist with inspections and audits as assigned.
• Demonstrate Residents’ Bill of Rights knowledge and respect.
