Job summary

New York Power Authority (NYPA) is seeking a Senior Nuclear Risk Specialist with deep nuclear risk management experience to support the Enterprise and Operational Risk teams and report to the Vice President. The role identifies, assesses, monitors, and reports risks across the nuclear portfolio to embed robust risk practices within complex operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of risk management experience including risk analysis and dashboard reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience with EGRC systems and risk program development.

Responsibilities

• Support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring across the nuclear portfolio.
• Develop risk registers for enterprise/operational/project risks.
• Produce standard and custom risk reports for ERRMC, EMC, and Board.
• Develop and report Key Risk Metrics across enterprise and project risks.
• Assist in EGRC implementation and ongoing operation.
• Coordinate training on EORM and risk concepts for management and staff.
• Align enterprise processes with Internal Audit, Asset Management, and Compliance.
