Job summary

Fugro in Houston seeks a QA Nuclear Manager to implement, maintain, and improve QA programs supporting nuclear projects. You will ensure ASME NQA-1 compliance, oversee audits, supplier quality activities, records management, and corrective actions to promote a culture of quality and safety.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field, 10+ years in nuclear or regulated environments, and strong leadership to integrate QA into project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Construction Management, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in commercial nuclear or related regulated industry.
• Minimum 5 years implementing Nuclear Quality Assurance programs.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in accordance with NQA-1 and client requirements.
• Provide independent quality oversight of engineering, field, and supplier activities.
• Plan, conduct, and manage internal and supplier audits, surveillances, and assessments.
• Ensure document control, records retention, nonconformance, and corrective action processes.
