Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader to develop and maintain the nuclear QA program, ensuring compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME Section III, and NQA-1 standards.

You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and regulators, lead audits, provide training, and mentor QA personnel to uphold NuScale's safety and quality culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree required; technical degree preferred.
• 10+ years of nuclear QA program development/implementation experience.
• Minimum 5 years implementing ASME BPVC Section III; interaction with Authorized Nuclear Inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and maintains QA program processes and guidance documents.
• Reviews procedures for compliance with QAPD, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and ASME III.
• Supports ASME Section III audits, surveillances, and CA analyses; lead auditor as applicable.
• Primary QA representative for 10 CFR 50 Appendix B/ASME III projects; liaises with stakeholders.
• Provides QA training and mentorship to NuScale staff.
