Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a senior-quality assurance professional to lead QA activities for nuclear projects. The role supervises QA specialists and ensures compliance with client, regulatory, and quality program requirements.

Required are a four-year degree and 10+ years of related experience, plus the ability to obtain NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification. Proficiency with ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR Part 21 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study with substantial work experience.
• Ten years of related experience or fourteen years if non-degreed, in nuclear/QA contexts.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal QA audit and survey activities, including surveillance of home office and project site activities to assess compliance with client, regulatory, and quality program requirements.
• Manage reviews of project quality program documents for compliance.
• Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, or certified to perform audit and surveillance activities.
• Document, evaluate, and resolve issues within the corrective action program.
• Contribute to mitigation of significant quality risks and resolution of client quality issues.
• Maintain relationships with Client Quality personnel and other stakeholders.
