Job summary

Fugro’s QA Nuclear Manager leads quality programs for nuclear projects, ensuring ASME NQA-1 compliance and client requirements. This role provides independent quality oversight of engineering, procurement, and supplier activities while integrating quality into project execution.

The position collaborates with project teams, conducts audits, maintains records, and drives continuous improvement to promote nuclear safety and a culture of quality across Fugro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in the commercial nuclear power, DOE nuclear, nuclear engineering, or related regulated environment.
• Minimum 5 years implementing, managing, auditing, or overseeing Nuclear QA programs compliant with ASME NQA-1.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in accordance with ASME NQA-1 and client requirements.
• Provide independent quality oversight of engineering, consulting, field, and supplier activities.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits and surveillances.
• Represent the Nuclear quality function in client, project, and internal meetings.
