Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an experienced mechanical/nuclear engineer to help design and modify nuclear power plant systems. You will prepare or review modification packages, drawings, and analyses, while interfacing with clients and leading project teams.

The role requires 10+ years in the nuclear power industry, ABET-accredited degree, and strong codes/standards knowledge. Hybrid schedule with in-office work three days weekly and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree (B.S./M.S.).
• 10+ years in the nuclear power industry.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design.
• PE license beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Modify packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Prepare or review functional mechanical drawings for plant systems.
• Conduct engineering analyses to support modifications and operation.
• Prepare procurement documents and vendor bid evaluations.
• Lead engineering project teams and interface with clients on site.
