Job summary

People Integra (A Business Integra Group Company) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in structural analysis and FEA to support reactor components and related structures.

Responsibilities include performing structural/dynamic analysis, stress/fatigue evaluations under static and transient loads, applying ASME BPVC Section III, developing calculations and reports, and performing FEA with ANSYS Workbench or APDL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of structural/mechanical analysis experience.
• 8+ years of FEA experience.
• Strong experience with ASME BPVC Section III, preferably in the nuclear industry.
• Experience with primary/secondary stress, fatigue, mechanical and thermal loading analysis.
• Proficiency with ANSYS Workbench or APDL.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python for engineering analysis/data processing is preferred.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and project execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and dynamic analysis of mechanical components and support structures.
• Conduct stress and fatigue evaluations for mechanical and thermal loadings under static and transient conditions.
• Apply ASME BPVC Section III requirements to engineering analysis and design activities.
• Develop engineering calculations, technical reports, and analysis documentation.
• Perform FEA using ANSYS Workbench or APDL.
• Collaborate with mechanical, design, systems, and project engineering teams to deliver projects on schedule.
• Review engineering results and clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations.
