Job summary

Nano Nuclear Energy, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer specialized in ASME BPV Code to design, analyze, and certify structural systems for advanced energy projects.

You will collaborate with mechanical, piping, and process engineers to ensure ASME compliance and safe, buildable structures for skids, foundations, modules, and supports. The role demands 5+ years in heavy industrial structural design, strong communication, and experience with multi-discipline integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Civil, Mechanical).
• 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial structural design, preferably within nuclear or energy sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III and VIII is highly desired.
• Experience developing design of complex systems and leading cross-functional problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for regulatory and technical communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as authority on ASME BPVC Sections III and VIII and ASME B31.1/B31.3.
• Author/review engineering calculations for compliance and technical accuracy.
• Audit outputs from drafters, designers, and vendors to meet system requirements.
• Ensure engineering work maintains integrity through reviews and processes.
• Evaluate structural integrity against seismic and blast loads; optimize buildable designs.
