Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 10 years of nuclear industry experience, including design engineering and nuclear licensing.
• Full Qualifications in design engineering processes and experience with development and approval of engineering deliverables.
• Full Certifications for 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 72.48 evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of NRC regulations, nuclear plant systems, and environmental reviews.
• Experience with industry codes and standards, regulatory guidance documents.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of licensing activities including development, review, approval and submittal of license amendments.
• Support regulatory acceptance, review and approval of submittals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for plant changes.
• Support environmental reviews associated with major licensing actions.
• Coordinate licensing activities with EPCs, OEMs, and project/site engineering.
• Travel as needed to industry meetings, Vistra sites, vendor facilities and NRC.
